Strive to Find The Answers To Live and Achieve Your Life Goals
Life is an adventure. It is full of opportunities. You have the choice to live your life however you wish. Everyone on some level desires a deep connection with others and to live a purpose that feels meaningful. Unfortunately, life can be challenging at times. We get into a groove and can forget about the possibility of adventure, joy, and finding a purpose that fills our hearts with happiness.
Like most people, you may feel there is never enough time to manage everything you want to do. Life and all the responsibilities can seem impossible to balance.
I have learned the hard lessons of balancing life responsibilities while sacrificing my emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. I have found that many people follow this same path, and it is when we are in pain, in fear of becoming ill, or at a breaking point in our life that the urgency to fix ourselves becomes important. What if we spent more time planning our life and prioritizing the essential things: starting with our well-being?
Achieving a well-balanced and healthy life requires looking into how you are spending your time and deciding if the things you are doing meet your overall life plans. For some, they may not even know what they want, and it is because of this, they never feel inspired or are doing what makes them feel happy. To achieve living your life while balancing all of the endless responsibilities will require a thorough plan, a solid commitment, and most importantly, consistency.
Most people approach their life through the lens of success based on external achievement rather than viewing life from the standpoint of our spiritual health and well-being. Success is not based on achievement, and this will never leave you feeling content.
Many people have felt overwhelmed with their lives, and the trap begins when we sacrifice taking care of ourselves. What if success looked like this: connecting deeply with our loved ones, waking up in the morning feeling energized, inspired, motivated, and ready to conquer the day. How would life feel different if, no matter how you chose to spend your day, you finished it feeling peaceful and full of happiness?
Our society has put so much attention on wellness that many believe our only hope is to rely on medical professionals and experts to give us all the answers. While these things can be helpful, it is not our only solution. What would it look like if we took charge of our lives and made decisions for the best for our health and family values? We seek to have meaning by our career choices, hobbies, and the people we spend time with. Many of us think we cannot take the lead in our choices and don't know what to do for ourselves.
We make our own decisions. We must be willing to actively explore how and if what we are doing is helpful for us. We must be ready to accept that professional advice and the support we seek is the starting point. Nothing will replace self-discovery and a thorough examination of the results we are achieving. The journey to self-care is a lifestyle. It is a choice that will require effort and a lot of trial and error.
I believe most people want to find balance, and they wish to be healthy. The fact that our lives are so full is usually the reason most people sacrifice their health first. Many become discouraged and feel hopeless, confused, and unable to manage their time effectively. The truth is, our time commitments and responsibilities can be balanced when we live based on our deeper needs and values.
What do I need? What are my values? What do I need to cut out of my life to have the things I want? What answers do I need so I can find the solutions to my problems? Where can I find guidance, and how can I know whether or not I am living the right way?
The amount of time I spend asking questions and having a positive mindset is everything. In healing and in general, I have found that those seeking more significant results have better success when fully invested in the process. I recently asked a patient of mine if he was ready to heal. I gathered from the conversation that he was prepared, yet there was a hesitancy, a fear that his problem was only going to worsen and there were no answers for his situation.
I believe healing requires the belief in the process and a willingness to seek answers even when the situation seems impossible. Many people believe they seek answers but are perhaps unaware subconsciously that they spend more time in fear and disbelief, which outweighs their efforts in overcoming the challenge.
Suppose you want to determine whether or not you are on the right path towards your goals, whether it is physical healing, overcoming trauma, or achieving many of your different life goals. In that case, it is crucial to have a plan and a system to determine how much time you are spending on the project and if you are getting the results you want.
Suppose you are not reaching your goals with greater examination. In that case, you may be surprised that you may be doing counter-productive things or spending time unconsciously believing that you can succeed.
Whether you believe in a higher power or not, we achieve and heal through the power of faith. How would your situation be different if you had full, wholehearted faith and a solid and relentless attitude that you would succeed no matter what?
How much time do you spend examining your life? Do you have a plan and follow a consistent process to find the answers you are looking for by trial and error? Do you spend more time in disbelief subconsciously, or do you have an honest, wholehearted approach and positive attitude that you will succeed?
If you feel overwhelmed, in fear about your life, or are not living the life that helps you feel inspired, encouraged, and hopeful, perhaps you don't have a plan. The answers are in front of us, and we need to make sure we are asking the right questions.
