In this class, you will learn many useful assessment techniques and strategies for treating various movement and mobility limitations in your clients. You will learn to evaluate the range and quality of movement and how to apply techniques to increase mobility, decrease pain, and help your clients move with less restriction. You will learn effective protocols to help you develop better clinical skills and help clients get better treatment outcomes. Course content is geared towards healthcare professionals, personal trainers, movement practitioners, and athletic trainers.

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬

Participants will learn to assess the proper movement of the hip and lower extremities and how to best treat various movement limitations in the hip and lower extremities.

  • Learn to assess lower extremity movement and restore proper function to the hip and lower extremities.

  • Participants will practice assessing and building treatment protocols to treat their patients effectively.

  • Participants will learn and discuss various treatments, including stretching and therapeutic massage.

  • Participants will focus on treating hip pain, osteoarthritis, S.I. joint pain, sciatica, and other lower body disorders, including knee and ankle pain and plantar fasciitis.

  • Participants will discuss educating patients on self-care practices to help increase patient outcomes.

Participants will learn useful mobility techniques and how to use them safely with their patients.

  • Participants will learn to incorporate mobility techniques for the hips and lower extremities safely.

  • Participants will understand why and when to use specific mobility techniques and their outcomes.

  • Participants will learn effective assessments and how to direct their treatment goals best.

  • Participants will practice and learn how to use the techniques effectively in their own practice.

This program is eligible for continuing education credits for Massage Therapists.
