One of the essential things in learning how to avoid injury to the neck is setting yourself up in the movement. When we discuss moving through the neck, we are also considering the direction of the thoracic spine. Make sure to move slowly during the setup and movements of the neck and shoulders.

 

Flexion of the Neck
