We all talk about change. We get excited about possibilities and the things we want to achieve. To make a change in life and focus on our goals, dreams, and aspirations, we must clarify the process and the challenges and steps required to achieve them.

Do we want to change

It's important to know what it means to change before we can do it. Suppose we want to overcome a health issue, change careers, make more money, start a new exercise program, a business, or invent something that will change the world. In that case, we must understand that achieving any of it requires dedication and setting realistic expectations and goals.

If we're not clear about what we want, we cannot make any changes, and we'll spend our energy and time struggling with the same problem or trying to apply solutions without really taking action needed to achieve it.

What do I Want

We need to get clear about what we want to do with our time with our life and the things that are important to us. We all have ambition, and when we are unable to follow through, we can feel guilty.

When we look closer at how we are spending our time, we will notice we may not be doing the things we want to. Perhaps we are struggling with addiction, not getting along with someone in our family, overwhelmed with our job, or we want to overcome a health issue or challenge.

If we want to change, we need to acknowledge what we want and be committed to doing something about it. We must realize something is not the way we want it to be, and then we need to decide whether or not it is important enough for us to spend time trying to find the answers to accomplish it.

When it comes to making decisions, we spend time thinking about the things we don't like or the challenges rather than finding solutions. We can become lost in knowing what to do or fearful of taking the steps required to achieve it.

Take some to reflect on what you need, what you want to create, what you want to

change, and ask yourself if you're going to spend the time trying to do it.


Take a Closer Look

The steps required to achieve our goals can feel daunting. We need to complete our ambitions, but let's not forget that we still have to balance all the other areas of our lives. We need to be realistic about how much time there is during the day.

Many people are not accomplishing the things they want, not because they are lazy, uncommitted, or unwilling, in most cases. We have a lot to balance. When we look at how we are spending our time, we will quickly see we either have too much on our plate or are overwhelmed.


What do I Need

We all respond differently to challenges. People want to move forward. They want to believe they can take on big projects, new goals and balance their lives with grace.

The ability to move forward is dependent on so many things. Often we take on new projects before looking at how they will impact our lives. We cannot force ourselves forward without it causing a ripple effect somewhere in our lives.

We think we can change by keeping to our goals at all costs. When we're honest, we will see that the process of our goals is often met with self-doubt, fear, and overwhelm. We want to keep up, and we think we will do whatever it takes to achieve it, yet at some point, we will break.

No amount of belief will change the reality of where we are in the moment. When we are faced with overwhelm, anxiety, anger, or needing to take time to rest, our choice is to keep moving forward and ignore this or finding a solution to overcome the challenge.

Take some time to reflect on what you need when you feel overwhelmed, anxious, fearful, or experiencing self-doubt. You may be surprised at the simplicity of what you need. Will you listen?


The Reality of Change

How often have we started something only to quit shortly after? Was this because we were not capable of achieving this or something else? I believe we are much more capable than we think. Whether we achieve our goals is only dependent on setting a realistic and defined outcome.

The steps to achieve anything are pretty straightforward. It is about consistency. It is about doing the steps until we reach what it is we want. Many people are looking for an easier way to change or looking for a solution that will offer them a path that doesn't require work.

Everything in life requires ongoing care, whether you are building a business, wanting healthy relationships, overcoming a health issue, or looking to find happiness.

To achieve anything in life, we need to get clear about what we are willing to do. We need to take care of ourselves in the process, and we need to get clear about what is required to change, overcome a challenge or achieve our goal.

When we begin to make decisions, whether to do something or not, we can prioritize our tasks and goals and follow a realistic plan for achieving them while ensuring we care for ourselves during the journey.
